Korábban a veszprémi önkormányzat úgy döntött, hogy 2019. január 1. napjával a város közösségi közlekedését saját cége, a V-Busz Kft. fogja ellátni. A Kft. ügyvezetője, 2018. szeptember 12-én tárgyalt a szakszervezetekkel, ahol vállalta, hogy az elhangzott ajánlatát írásban is megküldi az érdekelt két szakszervezet számára. A SZAKSZ részére 2018. szeptember 28-án a V-Busz Kft. e-mailben elküldte, a kollektív szerződés tervezetét, amiről a későbbiekben tárgyalást folytatna a szakszervezetekkel.
A SZAKSZ és a Balaton Volán Rt. Alkalmazotti Szakszervezet, 2018. szeptember 30-án konzultációt tartott a helyijárat területén dolgozó tagjaikkal és az ott megfogalmazott elvárásokat összegezve, már másnap a SZAKSZ levélben tájékoztatta a V-Busz Kft. ügyvezetőjét arról, hogy az autóbuszvezetők milyen feltételek teljesülése esetén helyezkednének el a V-Busznál.
A V-Busz Kft. ügyvezetője Mihálszky úr a szakszervezet levelét már másnap, vagyis október 1. napján olvashatta, így tudomást szerzett a munkavállalók által megfogalmazott követelésekről.
A levélre választ a szakszervezetek nem kaptak és a mai napra (október 9.) és csütörtökre (október 11.) Mihálszky úr megbeszélésre hívta az érintett munkavállalókat. A tájékoztatás során, ahol a mai napon 7 fő autóbuszvezető jelent meg, a foglalkoztatással kapcsolatos értékelhető ajánlatot Mihálszky úr nem tett, ami a jövőbeni szolgáltatáshoz kapcsolódó foglalkoztatás biztonságát és egy elfogadható bérszínvonal biztosítását garantálná.
A munkavállalók által szeptember 30-án megfogalmazott elvárásokkal kapcsolatban, nem hivatalosan ott a tájékoztatón az ügyvezető közölte, hogy a bérkövetelés mértékét teljesíthetetlennek tartja és kollektív szerződés megkötésére is csak később kerülhet sor, valamint a V-Busz Kft-nél a munkaviszony létesítése és a foglalkoztatás, egyéni munkaszerződések megkötésével jön majd létre.
